Ms. Perez has participated in panels and/or spoken at the Black Hollywood Film Festival, the Latin Heat Film Festival, Hawaii Songwriting Festival, ASCAP, Screenwriters World Conference, Beverly Hills Bar Association, Scriptwriters Network, Writers Digest Conference West, and Cinewomen.

She is a member of Film Independent, the Association of Independent Music Publishers (AIMP), the Copyright Conference (CCC),  and the California State Bar. She was a founding board member of Cinewomen in Los Angeles.

BACKGROUND

Ms. Perez is fully bi-lingual in Spanish. In addition to her English-speaking clients, she provides legal services to Spanish-speaking clients from South America, Mexico, and Spain.
